I make pasta salad on a regular basis in the warmer months. Just cook your pasta, any type that you like, drain of course and cool under running cold water to stop the cooking process. Then use you imagination as to what ingredients you would like. I use (all raw) red onions, olives, green and red bell pepper, broccoli crowns, cauliflower, cucumber, tomatoes that have been seeded, chick peas, cucumbers-the list is endless. I dress the salad with a jar of Good Seasons Italian Dressing (the kind that comes in a little packet and you make up fresh) or you can use pre-made bottled dressing and some fresh grated Parmesan cheese. I also sometimes add bite-size chunks of Mozzarella or Provolone cheese. If I have any leftover grilled salmon or grilled tuna, I add that.
