Recipe: Patio Chops and Beans (1950's)

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham
PATIO CHOPS AND BEANS

"Good as all outdoors!"

1 (1 lb. 15 oz.) can Van Camp's Pork & Beans
4 pork chops (cut 1/2-inch thick)
1/4 cup Stokely's Finest Apple Jelly
1/4 tsp. McCormick-Schilling Caraway Seed

Pour pork and beans into greased 2-quart baking dish.

Brown chops and place on top of beans.

Stir caraway seeds into jelly, spread on top of chops.

Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until chops are done.

Makes 4 servings
