Recipe(tried): Salad Ideas - Veggie Salad and Broccoli Salad

I have 2 salad ideas:

#1 Try making a salad with either green beans or broccoli or A COMBINATION --
both

Par boil veggie. Toss with chopped onion, celery, bell pepper, and roasted red peppers. Add Italian dressing of you choice. Marinate at least 1 hour.

BROCCOLI SALAD

FOR THE DRESSING:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
FOR THE SALAD:
1 head broccoli, cut into flowerettes
1 red onion, sliced thin
8 slices bacon, cooked/crumbled
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup cashews

Mix the ingredients for the dressing together; set aside.

Toss the salad ingredients together in large bowl.

Toss salad with dressing when ready to serve.
