THE WORCESTER BURGER
2 pounds ground lean beef
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
toasted bun and sliced tomato (optional, for serving)
In a large bowl combine all ingredients; mix well but do not overmix. Shape beef into 8 patties.
Place on rack in broiler pan and broil 8 to 10 minutes on each side, basting if desired, with more Lea & Perrins.
Serve on toasted bun with sliced tomato, if desired.
Makes 8 servings
