Hi Peg! Hi Y'all!
Been a long while since I've posted. Been a long haul. Tryin' to drastically downsize our lifestyle. Happens when you reach a *special age*. Your post reminded me of these sandwiches my God-mother made for us when my mom, my aunt, cousin and I would go to the beach for a day. I don't think Thomas makes date-nut bread any more. My aunt also made filled tinted bread pinwheel finger-wiches for parties. I just reminisced w/ her recently about these.
