Recipe(tried): Tony Chachare's Creole Seasoning

Herbs and Spices
Per your request for Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning, here is the recipe. I have made and tried this seasoning and find it to be a very good one. However, I mix the spices together first and add the salt last, little by little, until the mixture is salty enough for my own particular taste, and I stop there. The 26 ounces of salt indicated in the recipe is too much salt for me taste. By mixing it this wayt, you can adjust the salt to your liking:

Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning Recipe

26 ozs. salt
1 1/2 oz. ground black pepper
2 oz. ground red pepper
1 oz. pure garlic powder
1 oz. chili powder
1 oz. monosodium glutamate (Accent) (optional)

Mix well and use like salt. For barbecue and fried foods.
