Walnut Brownies with Mocha Frosting

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts
Mocha Frosting
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup butter -- melted
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter. Stir until smooth. Remove from the heat. Add sugar and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Stir in vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the chocolate mixture just until combined. Stir in walnuts. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
Combine frosting ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Spread over brownies.
