ISO: Apple Cake using apple pie filling, applesauce, and cake mix

Misc.
I need help. My Mother used to make a cake with cake mix. I know she used apple pie filling, applesauce, cake mix and butter. She called it apple strudel. Others called it apple crunch. She now has Alzheimer's and can not remember it. It was never written down. I think you put the pie filling, then applesauce, I think you mix up some butter with the cake mix and put it on top of apple mixture than put some butter on top. I am not sure if this is right. How much you use or how long and what temp. you cook it on . Can some please tell me they know this recipe? My Mom made it every year for the holidays. And all of us kids miss it. Thank you so much. Diane
