ELECTRIC SKILLET RICE AND BEANS
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves, crushed
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 (16 oz) can pork and beans with tomato sauce
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
1 cup diced celery
1 cup raw regular rice
Preheat Electric skillet to 300 degrees F.
Cook onion with thyme in butter until tender.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 25 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally.
Servings: about 6
