ISO: Sour Cream Apple Pie w/ an egg yolk, sour cream brown sugar topping

My neighbor made a sour cream apple pie, the filling is typical but the topping was made with egg yolks sour cream and brown sugar I think. It was put on after partial baking than rebaked with the topping. It was the best pie. The dough or crust was a butter pastry also.
