ISO: Welbilt Bread Machine part?

Misc.
I am not sure which model of Welbuilt machine I have as I am not at home. I picked it up at a yard sale with no instructions. The pan has a screw in the side with a dial which says open and close. It comes all the way out I have no clue what it is for? Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks:
