Hi Mimi,

It isn't unusual for the dough hook to stay in the bread when you remove the loaf from the machine. You just need to be very careful to check the bottom of the loaf and the machine each time and retrieve the paddle from the loaf before slicing it or giving the bread away to someone! We even had some visitors who put their dough hook in the garbage or garbage disposal by accident when they were disposing of a loaf of bread they didn't like!

We'll need to know the model number of the bread machine before we can try to help you get a manual.

My parents brought a machine to my home, they had gotten it from an older lady. They have several bread machines, but this one, again , has NO instructions!! LOL~!
When i went to use it, the dough hook came completely undone in the dough.

My parents tried to no avail of course to get a manuel, but with the company being out of business, there is none. Im beginning to wonder if there ever WAS a manual WITH the machine to BEGIN with??????
