re: Welbilt mixing problem

When you say it didn't mix all the yeast and flour, did it made a dough ball and left a little flour in the bottom corners of the pan (that can happen sometimes - I usually check after the first knead) and push in any loose flour so the second knead catches it)?

Or did it not mix the ingredients at all or only very little? If so, is the kneading blade in place? If your kneading blade is in correctly maybe the motor isn't working as it should.

Also, check your pan size to be sure the recipe you tried isn't too large for the machine. You'll find a chart here:
