ISO: Welsh cookies

Hi,
I am also originally from Scranton,PA. My grandma made the best welsh cookies ever. I am trying to make them for my daughter and the recipe my mom gave me doesn't tase right, something is missing. If you could share your recipes I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!
