Thank You: Welsh Cookies

As another Scranton native, I am not surprised to see all of us here with Welsh Cookie recipes. I have a few of them as my grandmas and aunts all made them. The church I grew up in made them each week too. (Dr. Jones United Church of Christ). I love making them and of course, they must be enjoyed with a good cup of tea...my favorite being Earl Gray. Like Michael I remember the cookies being called a name I knew wasn't English. I believe it comes from the Welsh "Teisen lap" which might translate to something like flat cake. I am going to make some this weekend!
