Thank You: Thanks, Gina - I'll try it!..

Misc.
It's my daughter who had the mini come-apart after one of her houseguests dropped a mascara wand on the carpet and tried to do a little repair with club soda before she told her about it. Of course, DD called her dear old mama in a panic. I advised doing nothing until she knew what would yield the best results. She was going to call the carpet manufacturer or a stain hot line. Someone had recommended the product "Capture" but didn't know if it would work removing a petroleum based stain from white carpet.

Thanks for passing on all the Fels Naptha information and for doing your own testing. I just know that it will work for her, because I can see you now in your own CSI home testing lab, with Caleigh Duquesne precision, making sure the stain didn't return. You are good!

I'm going to start looking for it here. There is usually a very good reason that a product has been around for many years in its original formula. If I can't find it locally, I'll stock up next week in FL.

Three cheers for Gina and Fels Naptha! I certainly appreciate your efforts and will let you know how it works.
