Authors -- Mystery
Misc.Posted by: Sarah on Friday August 7th 1998 02:00:47 PM
I like rip-snortin', good ol' gal mysteries, but also find the more proper
"ladies" infinitely readable as well. My favorites:
Earlene Fowler: Benni Harper's quilt-named mysteries.
Tamar Myers: Magdalena Yoder's hysterically funny mysteries.
Laurie R. King: Kate Martenelli series; Mary Russel/Sherlock Holmes series.
Karen Kijewski: Kat Colorado series.
Charlotte Mcleod: Sarah Kelling series; Prof. Peter Shandy series.
Dorothy Cannell: Ellie Haskell series.
Patricia Cornwell: Kay Scarpatta series.
Joan Hess: Sheriff Arly Hanks/Maggotty series; Claire Malloy series.
Diane Mott Davidson: good, but character becomming seriously whinny
lately.
Rita Mae Brown: Harry Harristen/Mrs. Murphy and all the rest, human and
otherwise, are a kick!
Marsha Muller: Sharon McCone series.
Elizabeth Peters: Amelia Peabody Emerson series.
Elizabeth Daniels Squire: Peaches Dann series.
Thanks, Betsy, for this addition to the Table; I'm always curious about what
books/authors everybody really reads.
Cheers!
