I can remember reading Barbara Taylor Bradfords "A Woman Of Substance" a long time ago,. Ive also read "The Shell Seekers" Diana Gabaldon writes 4 books starting with "The Outlander" They delve into historical time travel where a woman goes back in time and falls in love with a Scottish Highlander in the 1800's. Each book is like 600 - 800 pages long and they really keep you interested.
