Hi Karen,

Whoever coined the expression< "The kitchen is the heart of the home" was not far off the mark. I always enjoy looking at pictures of colonial hearths and homes because they envoke thoughts and wonder of how times used to be bacak home.

Kitchens are the heart of the home, it is where many gather. Laughter, sharing, making something together....the preparation and the anticipation is just overwhelming! Enjoying a glass of wine with music in the background is just sublime as we prepare. It is even better when the weather turns balmy and cool. I love Thanksgiving!!
