Recipe: Apple Noodle Kugel

APPLE NOODLE KUGEL

1/2 lb. wide egg noodles, uncooked
3 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup raisins
3 cups apples, peeled and sliced thin
3 tbsp. margarine

Cook noodles until slightly undercooked; drain and set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 12x8-inch baking dish.

Meanwhile, beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Add cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, raisins; mix together. Stir in apples. Stir in cooked noodles. Pour into prepared baking dish. Dot with margarine.

Bake at 350 degrees F approximately 1 hour or until apples are fork tender, casserole lightly brown.
