Recipe: Asparagus Canapes

20 fresh asparagus spears, uncut
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3 oz blue cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 loaf very thin sliced bread
1 cup butter, melted
Drop asparagus into boiling water for 2 minutes. Rinse with cold water, drain and pat dry.
Beat together cheeses and egg.
Trim crust off bread. Roll bread flat with rolling pin. Spread cheese mixture on bread and place one asparagus spear onto each slice.
Roll up tightly. Dip each piece into melted butter and refrigerate.
Spray baking sheet with Pam. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
