My family loves this one--sounds close to what Shirley posted--got it from a firend who got it from a friend, etc. Had it for quite a while. Here goes:
BBQ DRY RUB
Combine:
2 Tbsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. cumin
1 Tbsp. cayenne
1/4 cup paprika
Wonderful on ribs and steaks. Just rub on thickly all over the meat. I recommend brushing meat with olive oil, then applying the rub. I often double and triple the quantity for large portions. Have fun!
