Recipe: Cheese Bows (Bisquick recipe, 1985)

CHEESE BOWS

2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup process cheese spread
1 egg, well beaten (for brushing tops)

Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

Mix Bisquick, milk and cheese spread. Knead 10 times on floured cloth-covered surface.

Divide dough into 8 equal parts. Roll each part dough with hands until 18-inches long. Loop into bow shape. Place on greased cookie sheet.

Brush tops with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse salt, if desired.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Makes 8 large bows
