"Make your own sauce with this classic dish. Or use half a bottle of Ragu Alfredo Garlic Sauce. Then add in roasted chicken breast strips, fresh sliced mushrooms and red bell peppers, simmer and enjoy!"
1 bag Success White Rice
1/3 cup salad dressing (or light mayonnaise)
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup 2% or fat free milk
2 pkg (6 oz. each) roasted chicken breast strips, diced
1 cup sliced mushrooms*
1 cup frozen peas*
1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
Dash ground black pepper
Prepare rice according to package directions; keep warm.
Mix salad dressing, flour and milk in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook until thickened, about 1 minute.
Stir in all remaining ingredients except rice; cook 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Serve over rice.
*Or substitute your favorite frozen vegetable blend.
