Crock Pot Brisket
rec.food.cooking/Annice (1990)
One of my favorite crockpot dishes is made as follows:
Take a good size brisket or top rib of beef, rub all over with a mixture or ketchup and mustard; sprinkle with some dried onion soup mix, and cook on low for 12-24 hours. At the longer cooking time, the meat will be falling apart, but scrumptious. You can put some cut-up potatoes under the meat if you feel like it.
