Recipe(tried): Cucumbers in Sour Cream

CUCUMBERS IN SOUR CREAM

4 cucumbers, peeled
Salt to taste
1 onion, finely chopped (optional)
1 cup sour cream
1 Tablespoon vinegar
3 Tablespoons sugar
Pepper to taste

Cut cucumbers in thin slices. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with salt to taste. Add onion. Remove juices from cucumbers by pressing with a heavy plate. Drain. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over cucumbers and blend thoroughly.
