ABOUT THE EASY PEACH COBBLER, I HAVE DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES , AND ALWAYS TURNED OUT ALTHOUGH WE DO IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT
Easy Fruit Cobbler
1 cup self rising flour
1 cup + 1 tbs. of sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon(optional)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup of milk
1 stick butter
1 large can of peaches in heavy syrup, drain 1/4 to 1/2 of syrup
MELT BUTTER IN 1.5 QUART ROUND OR SQUARE BAKING DISH, MIX FLOUR, SUGAR,BAKING POWDER, AND MILK IN BOWL REALLY GOOD, POUR INTO HOT BAKING DISH ON TOP OF BUTTER, POUR PEACHES AND REMAINING JUICE INTO BAKING DISH.
BAKE @ 350 UNTIL GOLDE BROWN, AFTER ABOUT 25 MINUTES OF BAKING MIX THE 1TBS OF SUGAR AND THE CINNAMON TOGETHER AND SPRINKLE OVER THE TOP OF COBBLER AND FINISH BAKING UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN...LET SET FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING.
THIS RECIPE HAS NEVER FAILED US, WE HAVE USED IT FOR THE PAST 9 YEARS.
