Hi Irene, I have not tried any of these recipes with maybe the exception of the last one. I think I may have made it years ago while on vacation. At the time, it seemed like a really easy dessert to make.
Easy Peach Cobbler
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar, divided
1 tablespoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup milk
4 cups fresh peach slices
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
Melt butter in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt; add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter over butter (do not stir).
Bring remaining 1 cup sugar, peach slices, and lemon juice to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly; pour over batter (do not stir). Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
Bake at 375 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve cobbler warm or cool.
Yield: 10 servings
Easy Peach Cobbler
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 (2-pound) can sliced peaches with juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 cup milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Combine 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine, spices, and sliced peaches with juice. Stir cornstarch and water together; mix into peach mixture.
In another bowl, mix together milk, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt; mixture will be thin.
Melt 1/2 cup butter or margarine in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Pour batter over melted butter.
Spoon peaches over batter.
Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top.
Bake at 350*F (175*C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until golden brown.
QUICK & EASY PEACH COBBLER
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter
1 (size 2 1/2) can peaches with syrup
Melt butter in 9 inch cake pan (square). Mix together in small bowl: Bisquick, sugar, milk and cinnamon. Spoon mixture over butter. Place peaches over mixture and pour peach syrup over all. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm alone or with vanilla ice cream.
QUICK & EASY PEACH COBBLER
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. milk
1 lg. can sliced peaches, with syrup
Melt butter in a 9 x 12 inch glass ovenproof casserole. Mix together flour and sugar in a small mixing bowl, stir in milk and egg until well blended, do not beat. Pour batter mixture into melted butter in casserole, do not stir. Spoon peaches and syrup over batter and sprinkle 1/3 cup of cinnamon sugar over top. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 1 hour until top is golden brown. Serve warm with whipped topping.
