I am not familiar with the named restaurant but here are two green salsas that we like. Hope one will be close.
Green salsa
2 1/2 pounds fresh tomatillos
6 garlic cloves, unpeeled
2 large onions, quartered
4 large fresh jalapeno peppers
2 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 large avocado
Remobe and discard tomoatillo husks, rinse. Toss tomatillos, garlic, onions and peppers in the oil and spread in 13X9X2 inch pan. Bake 500 degrees for 15 minutes or just until vegetables are charred; cool completely. Remove and discard stems from peppers. Peel garlic,discarding skins, drain tomatillos, discarding liquid. Chop vegetables in food procesor or blender till boarsely chopped. mash avocado in bowl. Add rest of ingredients and mix all together. Cover and chill. Makes about 4 cups.
Avocado Sauce
1 ripe avocado
2-3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cupp sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon minced onion
1 clove garlic, mashed to pulp
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or amt to taste
Peel and mash avocado. Add remaining ingredients; blend well, using wire whisk. Let stand at least one hour before serving. 1 cup.
