Grilled Sirloin Thai Style

3 large cloves garlic
3 serrano chilies (I use 2 jalapenos)
4 large green onions trimmed cut into 1 inch pieces
1 bunch (1/2 cup) fresh cilantro leaves
4 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (I juice a whole lime)
1/4 cup fish sauce (nuc mam, or nam pla)
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 taspoon salt
1 (3 1/2 pound) sirloin steak (1 1/2 inches thick) or London Broil or pork loin or chops
Run all ingredients except meat through the food processor until pureed.
Put marinade and meat in plastic bag and marinate overnight in frig.
Turn meat several times and rub in the marinade thru the bag.
Grill to desired degree of doneness. Heat marinade in small saucepan and pass with thinly sliced meat.
If slicing meat and serving on a salad, add some canola oil to the marinade to make it into a dressing for the salad greens.
