Recipe(tried): Halushki

Side Dishes - Assorted
Suzanne, I am origionally from Western Pa an my family has been making this for years. take lean bacon and chop it into small pieces. Fry this until crispy, drain off excess fat. Add a chopped onion and saute until soft. Add chopped cabbage and saute for 15 minutes. Cover with a lid and continue to steam the cabbage until very tender. Remove lid and reduce any liquid that is in the pan. Add some butter to the cabbage and mix in cooked egg noodles. Enjoy
