NEW POTATOES IN SAVORY SAUCE
2 lbs new potatoes
1/4 cup butter
1 tb olive oil
rind of 1 lemon, grated
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 tb chopped chives
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp flour
salt and pepper to taste
3 tb fresh lemon juice or Real Lemon
Wash and boil the potatoes. Drain and peel. Set aside in a serving dish and keep warm. In a saucepan, melt the butter and oil in low heat. Stir in all remaining ingredients, except lemon juice. Heat, stirring constantly, but do not boil. It will thicken slightly. Just before serving, stir in the lemon juice and pour over the warm potatoes. Toss the potatoes to coat well.
