Recipe: Spiced Pineapple (sweet and sour using cinnamon and cloves)

Side Dishes - Assorted
SPICED PINEAPPLE

1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
5 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon

Drain pineapple. Reserve syrup.

Combine syrup with remaining ingredients except pineapple. Boil for about 3 minutes (watch this carefully - it will boil over).

Pour over pineapple. Refrigerate overnight.
