From: Nancy Dooley
Makes: 32
1/2 cup margarine -- room temperature
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/8 cup sugar
1 small egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/8 cups flour
1 tablespoon fresh grated orange peel
green sugar -- decoration

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice dough in 1/4-inch rounds. Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Put a 3/4-inch star-shaped cookie cutter on center of cookie. Sprinkle about 1/8-inch green sugar into cookie cutter. Spread evenly with a toothpick to form star; remove cutter.
Bake 12-15 min. until tops of cookies are very lightly browned. Cool on cookies sheets on wire rack 1-2 min.; then remove to rack to cool completely. Store airtight up to 2 weeks at room temperature.
