Recipe: Peach Dumplings (using canned peaches)

PEACH DUMPLINGS

1 (32 oz.) can peaches in syrup
1 tablespoon margarine
1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk (may use fat free milk)

Pour peaches and syrup into 2 quart pan. Add margarine. Bring to a boil.

Make dumplings by mixing flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl with milk. Drop large spoonfuls of batter into peach mixture.

Cover and cook on medium for 20 minutes.
