POLISH CABBAGE AND NOODLES
1 pound wide egg noodles, cooked
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter
4 cups cabbage, sliced
salt and pepper, to taste
sour cream (optional)
Cook egg noodles in a pot of salted water. When noodles are done, drain them and set aside.
In skillet saute the onions in butter until transparent.
Add cabbage and saute around 5 minutes or until tender.
Mix the cooked noodles with other ingredients in the skillet. Add salt, pepper, and sour cream if you are using it. The dish is ready to serve.
Makes 4 servings
