Recipe: Snappy Southwest Dip (using picante sauce, ricotta and sour cream or yogurt)

1/2 cup picante sauce
1/4 cup sour cream*
3/4 cup ricotta cheese (regular or low fat)
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
Tortilla chips or fresh veggies (for serving)
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes, until well blended (or place in a medium-sized bowl and mix well by hand).
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
*If you want to substitute yogurt for the sour cream, go ahead!
