Trail Bars

2 tbsp. butter
6 cup small marshmallows
1 cup raisins
2 cup oatmeal
3 cup crisped rice
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup honey
1 cup chocolate chips (more if desired)
(may substitute cereal for raisins OR oatmeal)

Combine all ingredients except choc. chips, butter, honey and marshmallows in large bowl. Mix well. In baking pan, spread choc chips along the bottom. In large pot on low temp melt butter, honey and marshmallows until creamy. Raise temp. to med. and remove when marshmallows are starting to smell roasted(it won't take long). Add dry ingredients to pot, mix thoroughly and scoop into pan. Allow to cool before cutting.
