Broccoli-Cheese Dip
Makes about one quart

1/4 cup butter
3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
1 med onion, chopped
1 (4 oz) can sliced, drained mushrooms
3 tbsp flour
1 (10 1/4 oz) can condensed cream of celery soup
1 garlic cheese roll (5 to 6 oz) cut up
About 10 oz of broccoli, fresh or frozen thawed

In small skillet, melt butter and saute celery, onion and mushrooms. If you are making a dip, add flour here. (For soup, eliminate the flour from this recipe. Add 1 cup of water.)

Turn into lightly greased crockpot and stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on high setting, stirring about every 15 minutes until cheese is melted. Turn to low setting for about 2 to 4 hours or until ready to serve.

Serve hot with corn chips, raw cauliflowerets, carrot strips and radishes.
