Roasted Pecans Supreme

1 lb pecan halves
1 egg white
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sugar
1/2 c butter, melted

Bake pecans on cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 350 degrees and remove. Beat egg white and salt until stiff. Beat in sugar gradually, then fold in pecans. Pour melted butter on bottom of cookie sheet, add the pecan mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes. Separate pecans with wooden spoon. Remove from oven and loosen from the pan to keep from sticking. Cool. Store in a can or jar.
