Recipe(tried): Waffle House Cheesesteak Sandwich

Sandwiches
Waffle House uses shaved ribeye meat for their cheesesteak sandwiches. The equivalent would be something like steakum available in the frozen food section of the supermarket OR ask your butcher to prepare it for you. Sautee the meat alond with about 1 1/2 Tbsp of diced onions. Butter one side of two pieces of Texas toast. Grill, butter side down. Place one piece of American cheese on each slice of toast. Place meat ond onios one one of the pieces of toast, top with the other. Slice diagonally and there you have it. An authentic Waffle House Texas Cheesesteak sandwich.
