Dearest June: I use the regular can of spagetti sauce

Misc.
not the biggest one but the medium size; I drain the mushrooms & I use some (less than 1/4 cup) of the liquid of the tomatoes, depending on the amount of chicken I am using. The wine is an absolute requirement, therefore, you might drain completely the tomatoes or the liquid will be partially eliminated if you do your recipe most of the time in high. (I must admit that is my favorite way of cooking in the crockpot because it eliminates most of the liquid.) The sauce produced by this recipe is wonderful, particularly over pasta. The thruth is that I had never had too much sauce resulting from this recipe. Sometimes I even shred the chicken into the sauce & then I add it to the pasta.

Dearest friend, you are an experienced great cook. Reduce the quantities in whatever you want. I am sure you will swiftly arrive at the right proportion.

Thanks for letting me know that you also like the recipes.
