Dearest June: My apologies. I forgot my comments on my

Misc.
Thanksgiving party. Seilita & Jos Luis & the boys arrived the previous evening. Jos Luis & Cesar decorated the back patio & the front of the house while Seilita cleaned the home until it was spotless while I cooked the desserts & half cooked whatever was not subject to spoiling. In the meantime I made a Sancocho too because as we were working so hard we were sure that we would be hungry at the end of the afternoon. When Jos Luis finished with the Christmas lights & decorations he came directly to the kitchen to help me. All the time he was furtively looking at the SANCOCHO (a one pot meal that includes several kinds of meats & all kinds of our root vegetables (viandas)). We dressed the table, crystal glasses & centerpiece & finally, at 10PM we ate our Sancocho at the back porch.

The next day we were certainly tired when we get up, but adrenaline is my best help. We relaxed a little bit & then I searched for typical Christmas music to be played as background for our dinner. After that we had sandwiches for Lunch and our friends began arriving at 3PM. It was a wonderful time for all of us. We ate, we drank & we gave thanks for having health, happiness & such a wonderful group of family & friends.

Unfortunately, next Tuesday, Seilita took Jon Edrick (the toddler) to a pediatric neurologist because he was showing certain erratic behavior & he was diagnosed with autism. That is life, some periods are of great happiness & they are followed by great hurt. We are happy in a sense because the diagnosis is at an early age & according to the neurologist & to the therapists that are treating him now, it is the perfect age for helping him as much as possible. Anyway, I am
extremely shocked but I most continue living & giving all the youg ones support.

Thanks for asking dearest friend. It was good to let it out.
