Note to Karan/SC

Dearest Karan,
How nice it was for you to mention that my post touched your heart.  Sometimes we hesitate to post personal information, but for the sake of dear Gladys and her precious family (and of course others that are struggling with a special child) I felt that I could give them the hope and support I wished someone had given me back when my son was younger. 

I am glad that you can see the beauty in all children.  I think once everyone wakes up and realizes that even though we live in a cookie cutter society, that each child is an individual and should be treated that way.  

I'm sorry you miss all of the children that you became close with over the years.  I'm sure they miss you too!  You sound like you are a very special lady.  

I think we need to teach all of our children from a very early age, that everyone is different, but inside we are all the same.  Kids can be very cruel sometimes. 

Once again, thanks for you kind note.  If my post is able to benefit or inspire at least one person, then it was all worthwile.
