Hi June/FL
Misc.ADVERTISEMENT
Yes, you are right. I live in Amherst. (You probably saw the flap about the high school play on the Today Show. Oh my :-(!! We're famous or is it infamous? Need I say more on that subject?) I think you said that you lived in Greenfield, correct? All of what you said about the weather is exactly the way I feel, especially about those skiers with their feet to the pedal in the worst conditions!!! DH used to have to drive home from Bradley, often on Fri, night, when he was working in DC. He would come home every weekend. I was always glad that he was home safely, especially in the winter and then he would often have to drive back down 91 on Sun., again with the skiers :-(! I'm glad that those days are over! Actually, I do love )or maybe like is the right word) winter when I can do as Gina said - sit by the window, build a fire and sip ...ummm - maybe a glass of wine :-)!! When we lived in Oregon, I would make DH take me up to Timberline Lodge, near the top of Mt. Hood, so I could see snow. When we lived in Texas, it was really a weird feeling to be walking on the River Walk in San Antonio, without a coat, doing Christmas shopping, though I can't say I hated it. I really liked Texas. It was just a different feeling. (We lived in Austin.) I remember, also, that sometimes in the summer I would wish that it would rain. Can you believe that? Ah well, no place is perfect! If you get a chance, do try the Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic Cranberry Sauce. It's really a good recipe and sooo easy.
