Actually, Gina, it could be so much worse. Look at the temperatures in the Midwest. They're unbelievable!!!! A Nor'easter came through here last night and just about every school system in this area had a 2 hour snow delay or closed school for the day. The system where I work, had school - on time:-( I was white knuckling the steering wheel all the way there :-(!! Then, of course when I left school (I work part time), I had to clear off the car. So much for sitting by a crackling fire, watching the snow fall and drinking cocoa. And, now that I'm home, instead of being at recipelink, I should be outside shoveling!
As for being such finecky eaters when we were little, we have turned out pretty well, don't you think :-)?? There is hope for all those children who only like a limited number of foods!
