In the White Trash Cookbook, this dish is called "Slumgully", so that's the name we started using at home. My personal version contains ground chuck, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, canned tomatoes, and for the pasta I usually use small shells. I also like to spice it up with a little extra red pepper - my family used to refer to this as my "sinus-clearing" dish!
