Love the pics and music, Gina, Fla

Misc.
The photos are a window into her early life. I do not remember the music, will check with my brother and sister, they have a great memory for the golden oldies.
We came thru Rita and Katrina fine. We are in the middle of the state and were 3 miles north of the flooding during Rita. We were without electricity for a couple of days and had stuff in the yard, nothing serious. The electriciy being off didn't bother us until Sun. since we were visiting in Maine, Vermont, and Mass. until then. The entire Gulf coast is a mess, the oil industry is having to rebuild in the Gulf, as well as most of the refineries are shut in. It is so sad to see these people who have worked a life time and now everything is gone. How do you start over if you are 70, 80, 90 years old? Most say they will start over, as one cajun put it, this is where we live, what we do, and we will rebuild, go back to work and look forward, the true, hardworking cajun spirit.
