I'm not the Same Girl....

was recorded by Dusty Springfield and Barbara Acklin, according to CD Now. Swing Out Sister did a remake in '92, so probably it's their version that is played at the opening. I love the "Sweet Dreams" by Annie Lenox theme for her Apprentice show, too.

I do appreciate Martha Stewart and the fact that she makes no excuses for loving domestic arts and teaching that simple can be elegant...as long as you use 'the VERY best quality', of course.

She cracks me up talking about her confinment. The line about knowing every card game there is, because "someone gave me a Hoyle's rules book in prison" was funny. She and David Spade were a hoot with the matching ponchos. She seemed so proud that she had made microwave nachos for the Oscar party with the meagerest of ingredients.

Has anyone mastered the "Martha fold"? I have!! I tricked DH into trying to learn it and before you know it, we had an entire laundry basket full of t-shirts was emptied and stacked. He said it looked like Brooks Bros. Now that's a good thing!
