New potatoes

Misc.
Debbie - your new potatoes and white sauce brought back some nice childhood memories - when our garden in Upper Michigan came in, I remember my mother doing tiny white new potatoes in white sauce BUT also included with the potatoes were new baby peas - that was comfort food - served with pork chops -

Does anyone besides me find all pork chops these days too tough and dry to eat? I remember the good old days when pork chops WEREN'T the other white meat - and were marbled with wonderful streaks of fat which made them moist and tender - they've bred pork way too lean, and you can't even buy a good one anymore - there is NO way to cook them that they taste the way they used to.

Happy St. Patricks Day! Did anyone do corned beef and cabbage (or New England boiled dinner - as it's called up there)?
